Kaunata – Leiņi – Piliki – Akminīši - Dubuļi – Hill Lielais Liepu kalns – Lake Vaišļi – Lake Pārtova – Kaunata

From the hospitable hosts of guest house “Pie Rāznas” in Kaunata village, the route passes along the stone church built in 1850, then turns to the peak of Latgale Highland and the third highest peak of Latgale Hill Lielais Liepu that is covered by forests. From the top of the hill there is a beautiful view on Lake Rāzna. The route continues to pottery workshop “Akminīši” that follows the ancient traditions of the special burning technique. From Hill Lielais Liepu the route leads back to Kaunata along Lake Vaišļi and Lake Pārtova. At the lake, there is a recreation place “Līdaciņas” that rents water cycles for crossing Lake Pārtova.

Kaunata. Kaunatas TIP provides the information about the tourism objects in the surroundings. Kaunata Holy Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church was built in 1850 (in the place of the burnt down wooden church).
EKO point. Beach, trips around Lake Rāzna by steam boat, high-speed motorboat or water skis and parachute.
Mākoņkalns. On the top of Hill Mākoņkalns (Hill of Clouds), there are ruins of Volkenbergs castle (built in the 13th century). From the top of the hill there is a nice view of Lake Rāzna and its surroundings.
Zosna. Zosna manor is a national architectural monument built at the end of the 19th century. Zosna St. Archangel Michael Roman Catholic Church was built in 1800.
Veczosna. Veczosna manor with the park is a neat place that offers recreation possibilities. At present the rehabilitation centre of Latgale is located there.
Lūznava manor. A luxurious romantic art nouveau red brick summer palace/manor surrounded by the park with artificial ponds. In the park, there is a beautiful Madonna statue made in the beginning of the 20th century by an Italian artist.
Lūznava - Čornaja- recreation centre “Ezerkrasti”. Leaving Lūznava manor along rural road that is leading through Višķeri, Žuriļi and Čornaja village it is possible to return to recreation centre “Ezerkrasti”.
Guest house „Pie Rāznas” offers lodging, excursion „Around Lake Rāzna”, and recreation at Lake Rāzna.
Kaunata. Kaunatas TIP offers tourism information about the surrounding objects.

„Akmenīši”. Workshop of pottery master Vasilevskis. Ecologically clean environment with old oak trees, a rural house and a kiln. The pottery master follows the traditions of making the ancient black pottery.
Lielais Liepukalns. The third highest hill (289 m above the sea level) in Latvia and the highest one in Latgale.
Dzerkaļi Hill. This peculiar hill (absolute pitch is 286,3 m above sea level and relative pitch is 89,2 m) is situated close to the Hill Lielais Liepukalns, in the North-East direction from it. It is difficult to get on the top of the hill since slopes are very steep. In the middle of summer the slopes are like gorgeous carpets made from wild flowers. The North–East part of the Dzerkaļi Hill stretches 800 m long and it is divided by 28 m high arched bent bulwarks. A beautiful birch-tree grove grows on the South steeple of the hill.
Vaišļi – Piliki – Kaunata. Rural footpaths lead along several lakes back to Kaunata.
