Nature, roads, history and neighbourhood unites Latvian, Lithuanian and Belarusian frontier territories. The area of the protected landscape „Augšdaugava” in Latvia, the national park „Aukštaitija” in Lithuania and the national park „Braslauskija aziory” in Belarus – the main nature value of these territories is water. Looking in a map it’s obvious that their lakes and rivers, together with the large tracts of forests form a fascinating blue and green mosaic. The international route can be passed through in 2-3 days, but it can be prolonged up to one week. It is only a central road of a velo routes’ network through the land of Baltic lakes.
Tourists should take into account that they must apply for a visa or visas in order to cross borders depending on their citizenship.
Memorial cross to deportees is located in Ignalina, LT. The height of the cross is 19 meters and it is carved of wood. It was erected by sculptor J.Jakštas not far from Ignalina railway station in 1989. 
Ignas and Lina monument is placed in Ignalina, LT. This 5 meters high sculpture is made of oak and represents two parts connected with metal suns upwards. The short version of the Ignalina legend (Ignas and Lina story) is represented on the other side of the monument. This sculpture was created by G. Černius in 1993. It is located in the centre of Ignalina city at the Paploviovis Lake.
St. Maria church is located in Ignalina, LT. His Excellence archbishop J. Steponavičius dedicated to the foundation of the Ignalina this new church in November 11, 1989. This is a fashionable and imposing building. Its architect was R. Kristapavičius and its design author was V. Dineika.
Zarasai town, LT. It is regarded to be one of the most beautiful cities in Aukštaitija, a culture history region of Lithuania. It is enclosed by blue lakes and fantastic forests of pine-trees. The unique planning of the central part of the town and the glorious nature with lakes, hills and forests is a real pleasure for travelers’ eyes. It also proves the unique beauty of the Aukštaitija region landscape.
Nature park”Medumu ezeraine”, LV. This park includes territory where Svente, Ilga (Ilze), Šķirsteņu and Medumi lakes are located. An expressive relief with hills, billows and ridges is characteristic for the park landscape.
Egyptian Lutheran church, LV. It was built by resources of the nobleman A. Etingens. This church was opened in 1825. It is known that the Egyptian Heops pyramid was represented on the Egypt – Birkeneļi parish church stamp. Now the church is not in use.
Medumi Catholic Church, LV. The church was built in 1933 - 1935 after the construction plan of architect Pavlovs from parish’s resources and under the Pope’s J.Plonis supervision.
Svente lake, LV. This lake is rich in bights and beautiful landscapes. It is located in the area of the protected landscapes of Augšzeme and together with the neighbouring territory form a nature park.
Daugavpils fortress, LV. This is the only fortress in East Europe, built in the 1st half of the 19th century, preserved without considerable changes until nowadays.
House of Unity in Daugavpils, LV. This is the biggest building in the Baltics built during the first period of independence of Latvia (1937). The foundation stone was laid by the State president Kārlis Ulmanis.
Riča Lake is located in Demene parish, Daugavpils district, LV. This lake is located in the Silene nature park territory. It is one of the clearest lakes in Latvia.
Bruņa manor house building is located in Skrudaliena parish, Daugavpils district, LV. The manor house belonged to family of barons Līveni. There are stables, two boulder household buildings and a manor house in this complex. The manor house is approximately 300 years old.
Šēnheida manor house is located in Skrudaliena parish, Daugavpils district, LV. The manor house was built of red bricks in 1870, during the governance of baron Eigen fon Engelhard. The manor house has an ascetic facade – sharp window openings, cornices and niches.
Ilga manor house - the hunting palace is located in Skrudaliena parish, Daugavpils district, LV. The manor house was built in baroque style in 90ties of the 19th century. Due to the architectural formation of the buildings having associations with Italian palaco type constructions, surroundings of the manor house have been named Pallazo.
Braslau town is located in the north - west of Belarus and is surrounded by blue lakes. The city is founded in 1065 and has always kept its position of being an important regional center.
Dryviaty is the largest lake of Braslau and the fifth in a size in Belarus. Its area is 36,1 km2, maximal depth -12 meters. This lake has 6 islands with an area 0,92 km2.
A castle mound of Braslau, BY is a monument of history and archaeology of Braslau. A great part of findings on this mountain is presented in the exposition of history and folk museum of Braslau. It is possible to see one-storied wooden buildings of city from ancient town, among which the former Hospital (1906) stands out.
The museum of traditional culture is located in the building of mill, which is built in the beginning of the 20th century. The exposition of the museum presents the most traditional forms of folk art in Braslau - wickerwork of sallow, straw and other natural materials, weaving works and ceramics.
Enclosures with wild animals are placed in the forest tract of Ratsky Bor. There are animals characteristic for Belarussian Poozerya (Lake) region: roe deer, deer, wolves, foxes, wild boars and brown bears. There is a small nature museum placed on the territory of the pine forest, too.
Mountain “Majak” (Lighthouse) is the highest hill of mountains Kezikovsky - 44,7 meters above the sea level. On the top of mountain there is a view place set for enjoying the landscape.
Slabodka is first mentioned in documents in 1618, as one of domains of famous Sapeg kin. Usually this name was used for settlements, where people free of fortress dependence lived.
Urban village Druja. For the first time in the written sources Druja is mentioned in 1386. A bloom of city was in the 17th - 18th centuries, when it belonged to the kin of Sapegi. The Sainted Trinity church (1643 - 1646) is located on the high bank of Zapodniaja Dzvina. The interior of the temple is established in the end of the 18th century in styles of late baroque and rococo. Pokrovskoje church, a real architectural monument of the end of the 18th -19th centuries, has very modest decorations. The grave of Colonel P.O. Suhozanet, who was a participant of Turkish wars, war of 1812 and overseas campaign against Napoleon, has preserved near the church.
